When fashion meets 9/11. A series of photos taken by Steven Meisel titled “State of Emergency” where supermodels are being arrested and man-handled by the police on Terror-themed fashion spread for the September 2006 issue of Vogue Italia. The photography—showing models in various stages of undress facing riot squads and airport security lines—is truly remarkable.
Like the concept, but fighting the war on terror isn’t always pretty.
