The Japanese kimono, which literally means “clothing”, is one of the world’s instantly recognizable traditional garments. Kimono are a much less common sight these days and are usually only seen worn by older women or on special occasions. Part of the reason is the cost, as a decent silk kimono will set you back the best part of a million yen. These are very high artistic value. Especially women kimono wearing in colourful, styling, the eye also has pretty wide waist belts, it is a kind of art. So how is a kimono put together?
