Ron Mueck: Hyper-Realist Sculptor

14 Aug 2008Ron Mueck is an Australian hyper-realist sculptor working in the UK. It would be fair to say, Mueck is the one of the leading contemporary artists of today. Hyper-realistic indeed. The scale is certainly interesting. Amazing how lifelike these are. It seems like they are almost sarcastic, either in huge size or in miniature, with generally normal non-beautiful or ideal subjects. Had never seen anything like this before… amazing.
